Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr. explains that Ron Paul Has Already Won.
Ron Paul is the only “mainstream” candidate I would prefer over Barack Obama, but it seems unlikely that he’ll be able to win the Republican nomination.

I am a delagate to the Colorado Republican convention this year. When we were each making our case for election as a delegate, there were three people who basicly said, “I will vote for Ron Paul no matter what the straw poll selects.” Needless to say they did not get selected as delegates. I like a lot of what Ron Paul has to say. We would be a better country if he did get elected. Unfortunatly, I don’t believe that could happen this year. I am not a huge fan of McCain, but I feel it would be better to get someone in office who will appoint conservative justices. There will probably be two Supreme Court justices appointed by the next president, and if Barack or Hillary gets to select them, we will see the second ammendment re-interpeted out of existance.
Oh, any news from the computer museum of the computers we talked about?

You are correct that both Clinton and Obama are for “gun control”, which ultimately means banning and confiscating guns, despite the well-documented fact that such bans do not decrease crime, and only result in law-abiding citizens being defenseless. I am very concerned about that.
On the other hand, McCain seems to have even less respect for the Constitution than either Clinton or Obama, e.g., the McCain Feingold Act of 2002.
As usual, I plan to vote Libertarian, and the majority of the voters of the state of California will vote for whichever Democratic candidate is on the ballot.
