The aluminum front panels Jim Donnelly machined for me arrived today. I was originally planning to paint it black then laser-etch the legends, but I don’t think I’ll have time, so for now I’ll leave it bare aluminum. I think it was a mistake using 1/8 inch aluminum for the panel, but I can live with it. If I make any more, I’ll use 1/16 or 3/32 inch.
I don’t have a real camera with me, but I’ve taken some photos with my cell phone. Unfortunately my internet connection doesn’t seem stable enough to upload them to flickr. I’ll try again later.
