New Voyager calculator images for Nonpareil

Maciej Bartosiak emailed me a new set of PNG image files for the Voyager calculators (HP-11C, HP-12C, HP-15C, HP-16C) which look even nicer, so they will be in the next release.

I’ve recently been working on an HP-27 (Woodstock, not the more recent HP-27S), so I asked him if he might take a go at that one, and sent him the first crude attempt I’ve done.

I’m hoping to replace all of the photographs/scans with drawn images over time. Some people like the realism of the photographs, so they will still be supported, but instead of including the MoHPC images, there will be instructions for how to download them, and alternate KML files to use them.

Maciej also is apparently making good progress on his native Mac OSX port of Nonpareil. Although I don’t much use a Mac myself, I’m looking forward to seeing it. I’m starting to think that a native (non-GTK) Windows GUI might be a good thing. Though I despise Windows programming.
