I went to see Kill Bill Vol. 2 last night. What an awesome film! I was worried that it might not live up to my expectations, but I needn’t have been concerned. The audio at the Century 21 theatre (San Jose, CA) had problems with the front left channel cutting in and out, which was quite annoying, but I enjoyed the film so much that I forgot to complain to the theatre management as I was leaving.
There were many connections between the two volumes that would probably have been more obvious if the film had been kept in one piece, but perhaps most people will watch Vol. 1 on video before going to see Vol. 2, as my friends and I did.
