Hi,
I have been using Norton 360. I didn’t face any type problem, might be Norton doesn’t support Vista properly or have some other problem.
Thanks

I've been using Norton 360 for several weeks. I don't know how the guys of this website tested Norton 360, but on my computer (2 years old, winXP) it SEVERLY affected system performance, not matter what settings I choose. Besides, the backup-functionality is more of a toy than a serious program. I just uninstalled it and feel much relieved that my computer is performing again as it used to do.

I recently helped my Mom setup a Vista machine. We purchased it at Best Buy who offered to remove all the craplets for some charge, and they advertised the service as "Acceleration", which I can't completely argue with, but... Uhg

My advice to her was not to run any virus checker, I truly think that the cure is definitely worse then the possible disease.

I hate Norton!! (but you already know that)...when i had it, it quit working and when i contacted them they said my credit card had expired but my renewal date with norton wasn't for another 3 months. i didn't like that they were keeping track of my credit card. plus i think norton is what caused the crash on my desktop.

Love, Mom
