I also had a dream that was quite similar to that in the way that it had to do with DRM!
Although instead of books, it was about some crazy device that I don’t think exists.

That was very scary indeed… not from the normal “Freddy Kruger” scary perspective but from the even scarier perspective of the continual erosion of our rights and freedoms, as not just an American but, as a human in general. The fact that your dream is a very real future possibility is what makes it scary. Those that choose to insult it are either intentionally idiotic or totally clueless and the point is completely wasted on them.

You don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone…

…and unfortunately if you’ve never had it, it will only be a blip on the radar screen of your ever fatter, ever lazier, government controlled life, devoid of all personal responsibility and the true fulfillment that comes from having it.

(OK, I’m sounding like some kind of fanatic or freak… if the shoe fits, wear it… I like shoes, guess I’ll try it on! Ah, that fits nicely, thank you!)

I think this was actually a very good dream. I feel jealous that I didn’t get to dream it. Very insightful really. You sound very smart. That’s refreshing in the world of idiots that we live in. I think it would be horrible for that to happen! I love books. Wouldn’t that like… make a library illegal or something…? >>;; Oh noes, I’d have to pay $10 a book to read manga. Over a $150 just to read Mars. Oh wow. That would be like my worst nightmare. Other than T-rexes being real…. ^^”
