Three years ago I got an unofficial DVD of Quark, the short-lived science fiction sitcom, but it was of very poor quality as it was mastered from video tapes from broadcast television.  Now there’s an official DVD release.

Based on the fantasy novel by Neil Gaiman, Stardust is one of the best fantasy films I’ve seen in a long time.  The acting, cinematography, costumes, makeup, and special effects are all top-notch, but the key is a very engaging story.  I expect that Stardust will be nominated for many awards.
