Put in changes to actually use the “background” section of the KML file to determine which portion of the image file to use for the window background. Previously the entire image was used regardless of the KML. However, the image file will also contain various other graphic items for the foreground, such as LCD annunciators.

All of the size and offset specifications in the KML file are relative to the origin of the image file, not the portion specified as the background.

I’ve received email fron Nalin Dahyabhai regarding my VTE patch that supports use of externally allocated PTYs. He seems to think the concept is OK, and has made some suggestions for improvements. I’ll try to get a new patch put together and submitted.
